screen goes blank trying to get into chat room

When I log in it accepts my nick name and I enter the room , then the screen goes totally black . I can still get to the board no problem , any suggestions ?

Hi abbyal.. not sure what could be causing the screen to stop working but I would probably start off, updating all your software through the Windows site. Might want to uininstall your browser and then reinstall it too. Something seems to be effecting your graphics card or memory for it.
