Car finally went to the mechanic today.

Now I am no expert on cars by any means but i know a thing or 2, and I have told ABwhatever he is that the car sounds like it needs a new coil, which i had a spare one of, maybe some new ignition leads and that he could probably fix it himself for like $40. I even emailed him a very basic youtube video on how to change a coil (it takes like 2 minutes). Also that the next-door neighbour is a  mechanic and had offered to teach him a few things (as the car always sounds very sick when it starts up). He ignored me.

So, the mechanic rang me today, New coil, new ignition leads and an oil-change came to $400. I reported these facts to him in as few words as possible.

Can you guess what the words I DIDN"T say were? I'm quite proud of myself...

Good Work Melly  You took the action and "Let go of the results."  Not easy but great growth!!

 

BTW -- You have another asset in your asset listing   You may not know how to drivesmile but you are certainly knowledgeable in the repair and maintenance of a car.  Driving will come easy.

lol yep, that's what i didn't say. It's his money anyway; the agreement was, if he drives my car every day he has to pay for repairs. (That's why i didn't fix it myself). Hard to believe he was walking 3 hours home from work every night for weeks rather than spend 5 minutes doing such simple procedures. The addict mind...go figure.....lol

Wow Melly driving could really open some doors for you. I love being able to get places without waiting on other people, I used to share a car with the exAH and well that was not the most reliable system ever to say the least. Sending you much love and support!

I love it when I show up for myself! Great work!
I believe anything is possible. For the first time in over a year, I sucked it up (the anxiety was terrible) and went and taught a fitness class last night. It felt awesome!!
