Listening it's day 14. 90 meetings in 90 days
For me, after I set the intention that I was going to find a sponsor, I prayed, watched and listened in my meetings. The right person appeared. I watched and listened a little longer, then sheepishly one night, I got up the courage to ask her be to my sponsor. She gave herself a few days to consider, then accepted. Looking back, I followed my intuition, which is always in alignment with my higher power, who is God for me. However, I did not react impulsively, I watched and waited for the right moment. Trust yourself, and, if it turns out that it isn't a good fit, you can let it go. You will know. We are here to run things by...not that we have the answers that are right for you, but we can speak from our experiences that will bring forth thoughts in you to ponder. And yay for you on day 14
I found the only "way through " is by using the 12 Steps, slogans and meetings.
And as Paula said, add a sponsor to this mix....
Trying, I just gotta say...If I were a bookmaker, I would make high bets on you flourishing in this program....I am very impressed, even tho we gave you tough love, in the interest of caring...You are hanging in there, staying the course and you are giving it hell with the meetings and sharing on here...and If you glom onto the suggestions of Betty and Paula, the sky is the limit for you finding not only yourself and the beauty within, but also when YOU change, your outside world changes....when the sun is shining on the inside, its hard for those dark clouds outside to stay very long...yea, we all get the "not so wanted" events in our lives, but programme helps us soften the karma so its livable and solvable.......

I didn't have the time for 90 meetings in 90 days myself so I didn't/couldn't do it. I go as much as I can...up some weeks, down other weeks. I don't have a sponsor but I do know it is best to have one. It's hard doing the steps alone. It's also hard not having somebody you can trust with your deepest hurts or worries.
I'm told when your ready to find a sponsor you will....
In the meantime keep up with what you feel best for you and take it one day at a time...
