phases of the moon and me....

Taken from Todays Gift

We, too, the children of the earth, have our moon phases all through any year; the darkness, the delivery from darkness, the waxing and waning.

********************************

Sometimes , a lot,  I wonder why, when the whole world around me cycles and breathes, I imagine that I should not.  So as usual, as programme says,  this too shall pass....

the little sliver sized moon that is the dark times..then it enlarges as it goes and thus gives more lightthen it becomes full and shimmering with light, then back down to the sliver

This feeling needy and apprehensive today is a phase...Today I am alright...Today nothing bad has happened...Its just my emotions playing havoc with me....So today I will work off those emotions...I already felt them, let them pass, now its on to taking care of me...

I really like this share, thank you. I get that, its like saying that everything passes, theres a rhythm to life and when we bend and sway with it rather than fight it we can have our serenity. So even in the dark times we just need to stay calm and let it pass because its probably our own non acceptance that keeps the darkness from passing, we prolong it in a way.x

Good one, N. Thank you for sharing it. Good example of feeling feelings, letting them go and then do something to nurture yourself.

A yummy one...the waxing and waning of our cycles, our feelings, our life force and we can flow with the rhythm.

Nice Neshema. Ty for the share. Sometimes it's just not your wave. You saw it in the distance you positioned for it. Paddled for it. Paddled hard. Felt the board lift under you. And then the swell broke in front of you. And your arms are tired and you are frustrated and start to think of all the things you could have done to catch and ride that wave. Sometimes you watch someone else catch it sometimes you watch it crash to the shore alone. dude! It just wasn't your wave. But wait here comes the next set. Thank you HP. There's is always another set.
