I'm thinking about you all in the east during this show storm. Prayers that you stay warm and safe. I wish I could send a little sun from AZ.....this pic taken at work.

LOL, my Mom was complaining on fb yesterday about the 80's in California and sweating, I had to laugh and think after I dusted my car off the other morning and got it warming up I couldn't feel my fingers for awhile. It is cold out there and Northeast Wisconsin is not getting the worst of it either. Stay warm out there friends!

In the Midwest and they have already closed things on Monday because of the cold. Crazy! We are slated to get about 6 inches and we need a really good freeze. I'm worried about the little kitty outside hoping she does ok on her own. Monday temps are on the books as a high of -12. Stay safe.Everyone!

I grew up in CA....but I won't go back if you paid me. It's not a nice place to live anymore.
LOL.... PC.....I could send my sun to the east for a while. Not sure what he is up to but no complaints here not hearing from him He and his father can do whatever they think best for themselves I'm on a new path. I love them dearly but I'm also not going there anymore. I'm liking my peaceful time..

I'm just so glad you are getting to experience such nice, nice weather and want to share that with us, too. No!!! I really mean it, sister! I really do!!!!!
Yeah, it's gorgeous here in AZ!!! I've been out hiking and walking every day and playing lots of tennis. Yet, when you all up north are experiencing summer, I will be locked inside in the AC because it's 110 outside, LOL!
AWWWWWWWWW, ILD. That's such a sad, sad story. Really! I really mean it. I do. (I'll promptly admit my lie when I do my 10th step later tonight - but I won't admit it to you or to Cathy)
LOL!!!! This is fun, isn't it? I really think both you and ILD need to come to the Midwest - experience the fresh, crisp air at -10 here with a windchill factor expected on Monday of -30 to -40. We can slide up and down roads in my car - dodging folks on cellphones with meth labs in their trunks. Ahhhhhhhh. You don't know what you're missing. Your fingers throbbing from being outside for 1 minute as you struggle with your frozen car door to open it and warm up your car. 45 minutes later, when the frost is off the inside and the outside of the car, you'll get to climb into snow still freshly fallen on your car seat from when you finally were able to pry it loose with numb fingers 50 minutes ago. There's plenty of fresh kleenex for your dripping nose and there will be a half-drunk bottle of frozen water for us to share from the day before it got stuck in the cup holder.

I am from southern California and not sure I would ever live there again, the weather is great, but all the crazy people and that is just my family! Okay that was bad, ha. I love the Midwest, but I hear negative temperatures are here and staying for awhile and Sunday Monday like negative 40's and maybe worse, well I will stop complaining, because I am in a very nice warm apartment with the dog snuggled on me. Sending you all warm thoughts!

Thanks Cathy
We had almost a foot of snow and frigid temps. The dogs are just refusing to go outside and I can't say I blame them. Would love some if that sunshine here. Only 2 more months til spring!
Umm, Grateful, I hate snow. Pretty to look at from inside a window, but I could go the rest of my life and NOT see snow, LOL! I doubt I'd come to the midwest at this time of year. Invite me out when it's spring time, before the humidity starts creeping in during summer!
I have my windows open right now and I'm resting on the couch. Took the family hiking today and not 20 feet on the trail, I smashed my leg on a rock. I now have a nasty cut and bruise and swollen shin to deal with. See, this is how living out in AZ is dangerous for your health. By staying indoors and watching the snowfall, you are now avoiding these types of injuries, LOL!
Oh, ILD. I'm really sorry about the injury to your leg! (this IS true)
I'm also very sorry that you don't want to come here with Cathy and enjoy things you can also smash just being in the house looking at the snow. Like windchill and temperature records, your interior door lock that is frozen shut from the outside in and you can't get from your kitchen to the garage where the tools are stored, your elbow that you hit hard on the corner of a marble slab as you ease your body down to sit.
I'm going to open a window, too!, ILD. I'm going to let some of the smoke from the burning food in a skillet in my kitchen out and the bitter cold air in - like it or not. Then, I'm going to close the window again and hope it will reseal before the next burst of wind and snow blast their way from outside into my home.
Once again, I'm really sorry you did injure your leg, ILD.
I'm also not buying the I get to "stay in and watch the snowfall" that might be helpful to me in "avoiding injuries". I see you grinning from your place on the couch. I know you're loving every minute of that perfect weather, the open window, the knowledge that at any time you can get up and go right back out there and face the Arizona elements with a happy, happy look on your face.
I also know you are secretly happy that you will not be snowed into winter weather in the Midwest until oh..........maybe April!
LOL! (((ILD))) (All kidding aside - I do hope the injury isn't serious? Let us know, Bonnie.)
