Making funny

I got rained down on Monday and promised a make up today and so I went in.  No rain today other than a very very gentle drizzle just when work was done...kinda a kiss.  When I started an elderly couple walked from the lobby to seaside to enjoy the view...it was enjoyable and always is after a storm.  Upon their return to the lobby the gentleman stopped to report that there was a very beautiful rainbow over the bay which caused me to smile and ask him if today was Wednesday.  He looked at his watch and I told him we "order that rainbow for Wednesdays" and they did that quiet double take and then started laughing as I moved on.  Today I can afford to have ...fun (Feeling Unusually Naughty)...LOL ((((hugs))))smile

Yesterday I came to the hotel with a hand of banana which was one of three that were ripening in our garage.  I had to give some away cause over-ripe bananas can draw flies better than Rockwell.  As I was walking in I saw a local family getting ready to leave in their van standing on the side walk and I asked first the mother "do you want some bananas?" and she smiled...hugged me kissed my cheek and said "A`ole mahalo" (No thank you in english)  Her husband did a second thought and then decided the same thing; a son behind her was quiet and passive (nice passive) and did not commit and then out of my left side another son approached, put his right arm around my shoulder, his left hand under the bananas saying "I can eat these" hugged me and kissed my cheek and said "Mahalo"...Bananas gone...everyone happy and my mana (soul)) singing a cool song.  Awesome I live Hawaii.    smile

For me a definition of Aloha is "generosity of spirit"...most always practiced on this board.   (((((Hugs)))))

Glad the rain is only sputtering a little. Thanks for the story, too, Jerry!

N...this morning's temperature was a frosty 72 degrees (lol) and tonight it will probably be around 67 or maybe just a notch lower.   People who are use to spending money to live or get by find Hawaii expensive...(((hugs))))

Wow Jerry I can so relate this morning it was -9 degrees, but went all the way up to 6 degrees today, but in all seriousness I love your generous Spirit!

ohhh wish i could move...LOL....."a frosty 72"   omgoodness....when i was married , my Ex was stationed in Long Beach, CA and we lived there for a long time...mild temps...shirtsleeves a lot in winter days, i thought it was the paradise on the main land....

THEN a ship comes in that was based in HI....my ex and I are in the EM club, talking w/my friend who was a bartender and these HI sailors come in and its pretty warm out...winter, but not real cold, at least it was nice for us....

those poor guys were FREEZING...they were homesick for HI, lol...we were like  "wow, you mean the weather is even nicer than So. Cal????"  I watch that Hawaii 5-0 show, now, and ohhh it looks so beautiful there.........heard its nearly impossible to own land on either oahu or Hawaii big Island...dunno about the others....what about Maui?? is it still nice and rural??? my ex went to HI a few times....he loved it...sent me  a pic of the Arizona memorial....i loved the pics he sent me....

I am in TX and we can get nasty in winter,  but thank God it doesn't last....today was in very low 60's I believe.....nice for us....yesterday was like 50's................

sure wish i could "migrate", LOL....Hugsss back at ya

Just a note N...It will become impossible completely once we get our self government back from the u.s.   Hawaii actually isn't a state at all.  It has never been annexed by treaty and was stolen and the monarchy overthrown by u.s. business men with the military.   I use my program on this also.  It works when you work it.   smile
