I am thankful for enough income to meet my outgo. I am thankful for the great number of people in my every day life who are pleasant and make me laugh. I am thankful for jobs that fulfill me. I am thankful for friends that smile when I come through the door. *ya know, this might be the best one, eh? I am thankful for the freedom to enjoy the life I love. I am thankful that I am not in a wheelchair getting my butt wiped by strangers who smile politely while they do so.
Tomorrow I will rise, drink coffee in my quiet house, start cooking my turkey at 10ish (thankful for no rules as to WHEN the dern thing HAS to be done), I'll take it out of the brine (something new this year) cover it with bacon, stuff it with a combo of bread mixed with water chesnuts, mushrooms, spices and eggs; peel, cook and mash my potatoes, crack some crab, clean up, drink more coffee, watch some movie I've already seen on my tv and enjoy the peace settling on me while my dinner cooks and the house fills with wonderful smells. Oh and I guess I will tackle the mess on the table since we are going to eat there, but no where, at no time, will anyone yell at me or my daughter the whole day - how wonderful is that?
I am thankful that I am happy, and I am thankful that I know it.

You are sooo special LMH and I'm thankful for that...I love your avatar and alway enjoy seeing it. Actually saw a little girl a bit of time back that looked like that and was adjusting a very large set of shades over her eyes. I thought of you. Happy Thanksgiving. ((((Hugs))))
Nice gratitude list Likemyheart! I am very greatful for so many things, healthy kids number one and feeling healthy within myself number two. The calm serene environment that I live in with my teenager, life is good, hard, but good! Sending you love and support on your turkey day!
