In the spirit of giving thanks I wanted to post as it has been a while. I am so thankful for the people here, the ESH and support from everyone on these boards. I have come here when I was feeling low, when I was feeling strong and confident and everything in between, and I appreciate how I was comforted here too many times to count.
A quick update--I have been working with a sponsor who has been helping me immensely as I have started step work. This has made a huge difference in my life and has provided a compass for me on a daily basis. My divorce will be final in about a month and a half. There has been some drama along the way, although I am feeling stronger and stronger in my program so that things that used to derail me just make me feel a little shaky for a moment or two (or half a day or so--haha). Three kids are all doing well and I am thankful for that.
I will start my day of thanks by running with my oldest son in an annual 5 miler Turkey Trot. Then we are off to eat too much with a houseful of loud Italians.
I wish all of you MIP family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Hope you enjoy it with family and friends. I am thankful for all of you!
Hugs yank! I'm going to say I'm completely jealous .. my divorce still isn't final! It's so good to hear you and the family are doing well! Congrats on getting a sponsor and working the steps! Hugs my friend! S :)
