A heartfelt thanks to all for your support and advice. I hope to become more supportive to others once I've worked through my family's present crisis with our A. It is amazing how comforting it is to know that you are not alone and that others experience the same feelings and pain. And that regardless of how much frustration and misery you feel dealing with your A and his/her disease, you will survive and life does go on.

I did purchase a will and power-of-attorney documents online to get finances in order. Cost me $30 versus hundreds for an attorney. Once witnessed and notorized, they are legal and that problem is solved. Maybe this info can help others with uncertainty in the event their A becomes incapacitated or dies.                       Take care.
