I literally hate having to post this stuff but each year our bills come due again for the MIP site.  The domain name registration, the web hosting, message boards, etc, cost money.  If you can make a donation that will help offset some of the expense it would be gratefully appreciated.  This is not a requirement nor is any amount suggested.  You donate what you can and what you are comfortable with.  Please don't let this minimize your sense of need to make a contribution.  It is needed.

LC, thank you! I think it is great to set up recurring donations by the month.  I wasn't aware that it was even a option on PayPal until you mentioned it above.  LOL

A big thank you goes out to everyone who took the time and made a contribution thus far.

I think people assume that many people must be making donations all the time, but in reality, that is not what happens at all.  It seems people need the reminder as the donations rarely come in (one for 10.00 in last 90 days) unless I turn the Donation lite on. (Ask).  Even then I have to do it twice a year to ensure there is enough in contributions to cover the expenses for the year.  It is a voluntary contribution and I truly respect that Tradition.  It just saddens me that so many are seemingly letting it be someone elses responsibility instead of doing their little part that someone else did before them that allowed this door to be open when they walked through it in their time of need, be that a month ago, or several years ago.  Five or ten dollars can go along way when it comes to giving our gratitude expression by action and not merely leaning on words when so many use this site and state that it has made such a huge difference in their lives and quality of recovery.  

Not to worry though, as many of you already know, I'm fully dedicated and if no contributions came in, I would not let the site close down.  It has done me as much or maybe more good than most as a member.

I'm sorry I mean like the music the news letters I'm only limited to what I can do on the sight I don't use a computer only my phone so I don't get to see all that availbe I only see the Alaon reply board . Maybe there's another link I should be using ?

Wisdom Everyone is eligible to participate on all the Boards as long as we register  We need to re register on the various Boards in order to participate.

Wisdom, what kind of phone do you have?  I have a Samsung with Android operating system and there is a app that I can use to enter the chat room for meetings and general supportive chat.  Let me know what kind of phone you have and what operating system in on it.. Windows, Apple, Android, etc and I'll look and see if there is a app you can use to enter the room with.  

I am going to work on revamping our web site this winter, as work slows down for me and I will make a mobile site option on it so people can use it easily with their cell phones.

John, one question though - are you able to let me know how to access the chat rooms? And also, when are the sessions running? I live in New Zealand so I am never sure when to be online in order to participate in the chat rooms.....Not sure what the time difference is between the US and NZ.....Thanks heaps!
