Hello friends
AH is doing so well, we are both working our programs.
But life continues on, unexpected bills arrive, pressure at my job seems to keep coming. I was feeling angry and disappointed. I thought once my husband stopped drinking life would be perfect. Ha!
As I pushed my cart through the grocery store, after working a long day, I silently asked God, can't you just give me a break? I've had such a difficult year, I'm trying to do all the right things, could you please just lay off a little with all the car repairs, surprise medical bills, home repairs and all the big stuff, just for a few weeks? Please?
I left the store and it had started to drizzle. Great, another reason to feel bad. As I finished unloading the groceries and turned to put my cart away I saw a beautiful rainbow. It was faint, but it was there. I smiled and thanked God for this little encouragement.
Them driving home, stopped at a red light, I noticed the bumper sticker on the car in front of me. 'Be Joyful. God is at work in the world'.
Ok, message received! I will stop worrying and complaining. :)
I love these special stories! Thanks, Paris. "Faith cometh from hearing" and in our case also from reading. Life is too dull for me without seeing God at work in the world. I'm glad you saw evidence of it and shared it, too.

I too have asked all this and for signs. I USED to, years ago, Say was that a sign or not? and get all confused and wonder!!!!! HAAA Then I stopped wondering. Even if they were not or are not, it made me feel good! And or I would ask for one then ignore them all, silly me!!!!!!!!
2 days ago I asked for a sign, I cant remember right now why exactly but I asked for one as I do often.. Then realized I forgot a bag in my car and I was mad because I had such a bad week, stressed and all that good stuff, how dare I have to walk back out to car LOL
As I walked out to my car this most beautiful WHITE bird was like flowing in the air (hard to explain, but it looked so peaceful and so free). It came down lower, then hovered a second then flew away. My first thought it was a dove but I am not sure what it was. But it wasnt a pigeon or anything like that. None the less It brought tears to my eyes, and I said THANKS I needed that!
