John chat configurations

Hi John re-configured everything and I appear to be getting into chat now but no-one is there.  Can you tell me what channel I should be keying in?  I have been putting in MIP which comes up with your info but when I post no one is there. Am I doing something wrong I am on MIRC.  Many thanks Leo

I believe it should be "/join #alanonchat" when you go in to chat..if I'm understanding you correctly.
