Every inch an SOB. While I'm still on exAH's "payroll" mandated by court, I thought it would be a good idea to apply for a home equity line in case if needed. I've been applying for steady work and am hopeful that the right thing will come along. I'm maxing out on money because of health care and the lawyer fees. ExAH has withheld my pay stubs for a year now, despite repeated requests. Finally, finally, he forwarded some payroll document, but not what the banks requested of me- the banks simply want my last 2 pay stubs. Huge $$$ for the wrong documents. I understand his strategy is to hold me in place while he wipes me out financially so that I have nothing. I also understand that it is illegal to withhold pay stubs. The judge and court, overwhelmed with cases, in general have been casual and indifferent and not even moved to enforce their own court rules and orders. Lawyers are ineffective when the courts don't enforce consequences... the A can do whatever they want - an A's dream come true- and the court enabling just feeds the disease to grow bigger.
I know that being angry isn't helpful. I needed to vent. Any support offered would be welcomed. Thanks for listening.
Money doesn't buy integrity, honesty, faith, hope, spirituality...look at all twelve principles behind the steps...each one. Every step has a principle behind it when practiced. Meditate on them and then think about how rich you really are.
Hi, Bud: According to Dave Ramsey, it is better to pay cash for something than to establish credit or to buy on credit. You have received some good E/S/H here. I will be praying that your HP will guide you to a door of employment that is right for you now. Your AH and the courts have no power over your HP. My HP is the Source of all good that comes into my mind, my heart and my life when I'm open to it. What I have is what I need. What I don't have I don't need. Maybe your HP doesn't see that a home equity line of credit is in your best interest? Acceptance of our reality and turning over those things we can't do for ourselves into our HP's hands can make all difference for us. Thanks for your post. It was a good reminder to me.
