This film clip shows the place where I was given help and hope, in the 1970's. learned a lot of stuff there, mostly about myself- and about aroha, which means agape and Greek.
I also learned to cook food in a hole in the ground- called a hangi.
The first image you will see is of a kid eating raspberries. I do exactly this with my grandkids- also plant green peas to they kin eat 'em in the same way...
I came from a sleep river village in the South Island of New Zealand. Much of it now is a lake.
I was broken and bust and went to a place on the bend of a river in the North Island. I got the help I needed there.
