Signs and Symptoms of Inner Peace

Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.

Some signs and symptoms of inner peace:

  • A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences.
  • An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment.
  • A loss of interest in judging other people.
  • A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others.
  • A loss of interest in conflict.
  • A loss of the ability to worry. (This is a very serious symptom).
  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation.
  • Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature.
  • Frequent attacks of smiling.
  • An increasing tendency to let things happen rather than make them happen.
  • An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the uncontrollable urge to extend it.

That's a dumb post, and I'm fearful that it will send the wrong message.  I think we should fight about it.  And your mother wears army boots.  :)

Oh, now I get it.... so you mean I don't quite have that whole "inner peace" thing down pat just yet??  hehe

Thanks for the post

Tom

I can see progress in most....yea, improvement...I am grateful that I am not where i used to be, to be sure...........??? on the "let things happen"   I thought in taking  care of me, sometimes I gotta reach out and make things happen, like changing my resume to try to attract maybe different customers??? or  going around doing research on how I can do volunteer work re: homeless dogs/cats and educate folks on animal safety and care and steriilization.....i don't want to just sit at home and "let it happen"  b/c I will stagnate ...nothing happens unless I shake the tree....reach out....experiment...explore.......letting things happen sounds passive.........where getting out and making life happen  (to my ability)  sounds better unless I am not understanding this right.......i "let stuff work its self out"  where i am powerless, but if I am not powerless I want to be proactive in my life.....and yea, I notice even tho I am kinda introverted, I am more willing to cautiously accept love and to give it....gotta feel safe first........
