Oh now when I see something in another, I do MY inventory to clarify, what is the reason for my negative "take" on a person....sometimes it is just a trigger, but I do like to "check me out" when I have a strong feeling, negative about someone.....
step 4 has helped me like me better....got lots of more work to do, but hey....progress!!!!!
TYFS, Good book!!!

One of my favorite Al-Anon-isms is "if you spot it, you've got it." Reminds me that if I see a characteristic, behavior, attitude, etc. in someone else that pushes my buttons, the next thing I need to do is to take a close look in the mirror.
I know that the first 4 TH Step was not a "fearless" moral inventory I was so very frighten to look within I thought that I would surely find that all the negative things that the alcoholic said about me were true. What a surprise to find all the positive attributes hiding just below the fear.
