I stand corrected. Correction: Glad you went to a f2f meeting and your sister went with you, too! And that was a positive experience for you! Yeah! Yeah!

So I went to a f2f meeting and my sister shows up, she said she wanted to come but never had a schedule for it. But tonight she showed up with a open mind to alanon. She is a recovering drug addict and she always attended NA. I am so happy she went, she got something out of it as well as I did too and for me I am not a big talker when it comes to groups. I would rather listen. However I wanted to open up a little bit on my behalf and what a exp. I enjoyed my meeting a lot tonight and I would love for her to attend more with me. Finally someone who wants to go with me. tyfl
Glad your first experience in a f2f meeting was very positive for you and that you felt comfortable opening up there, too. Either way - to listen or to share - is A-OK, too! Thanks for the update on your progress in the program, Tiff. Yeah!
Ooooooh, Tiff. That sounds like a wonderful plan for your life. Nobody can go wrong going to a meeting a day. I'd love to live in San Francisco. Multiple meetings every day of the week. Where I live that isn't true. Sure was great when I was visiting in SF for 3 weeks to find a meeting pretty much wherever I was on my sightseeing tours or near rental apartment walks. My favorite: A Sunday evening candlelight 11th Step meeting in an old, old church just a few blocks from where I was staying.
