one topic my AA partner and I discussed is BALANCE......
today I wrote down...a "typical" day for me and lately, writing down how long I am taking to do such and such
I then made a list, negotiable , of course if something special arises, but a basic list of *reasonable* time I need to spend on ......
today I did an hour of exercise
today I did an hour of step 4 work on resentments
today, I am posting on this board and gonna keep it w/in an hour or so UNLESS, of course a person is in real need and we all gotta pitch in to help them get level
today I vacuumed my entire house with my swiffer duster at my side taking out the dust as I vac'd
and its only THREE pm....AND I slept in this morning....
BALANCE....I am gonna keep practicing , managing my time, just like i do at work and be astonished at how much I can get done in one day.....

possibly another chat meeting...for sure 2morrow....
and before early to bed (Dr. Appt. tomorrow) meditations....in fact I will END my day on meditations.....
I just gotta practice it...
I can and DO do this at work...I manage my time beautifully and get everything done and correctly....so....if I can do it at work (focus and balance) why not in personal life????
OH, i figured in today, 1 hr. school/study .....
Please take what you can use and dumpster the rest.......

:) I love to hear you, Neshema, find balance and I enjoy very much associating with others who are searching for balance as well.
My issue is "consistency"....How do you force yourself out of bed to be automatically grateful? Do I "break it till I fake it :)" and go for a run rain or shine without groping and making excuses....or just do "bed yoga", stretch it out, and automatically kneel and pray afterward? I think I need to write down and memorize a routine until I get it....with anagrams and all.
