Hi, PC: I was wondering how it was all going for you this morning before I left for work. Nice to see you are enjoying yourself and savoring some easy moments with your partner. Hope your 1st day of work is complete with adventure, drama, intrigue, mystery, fun and oh. yeah! Peace! Just in case you get too busy to help us out here - thanks for the service you've shared with us thus far. (Notice how I can let you go free without trying to hook you with guilt or helplessness for staying with us if your caseload gets too heavy? I wouldn't buy it for a minute. ) All kidding aside - I'm glad you took the risk. You are good at what you do.

I am at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. This is the beach we came to growing up every year of my childhood. It is fun to relive them as an adult but also share them with my partner who grew up in Alabama (we live together in Fort Lauderdale now). I was at the end of the boardwalk looking at the rides I used to ride as a young child. Turns out my favorite is called "the fairy whip." Hahahah go figure. The new job starts monday after getting home. Not really anxious at the moment. I do think i will miss working with kids but change is good and I also have a purpose and literal obligation to help the still sick and suffering alcoholic/addict. Finishing up at the old job was emotional and I guess that was the harder part. Just checking in. PS: someone stays in our house when we are gone cuz of having so many animals...so they are fine and as much as I love all six pets...they are work too!

We recently moved away from driving distance to OC. I loved going to Assateague Island, which is nearby.
Congratulations on taking the next step in your career. I know that any of your new patients who try to put one over on you will be busted quickly!

ENJOY the vacation...I know its hard not to think of the new, exciting job, But I hope you guys can just have fun and think about the work when you get home......I think it is grerat, you working w/ the suffering souls who battle with the disease............ENJOY your time off....my girlfriend lives near OB and has a store not far away......beautiful area.....wish I could go see her and we could wander around the beach and take in the sites......
