for this fixer who couldn't fix himself other than to turn himself over to those who could and would; is the realization of what happens when I turn myself over without fear, anxiety, projection and the other "fear" tools I use to have.
While others were trying and doing their part to "fix me" I was participating in the process by not being resistant and self centered and controlling. I relaxed and let go and actually had a lot of laughs and got to know all of those people who stepped up. I have new members of my "Ohana" which in Hawaiian is "Family". I got to know them and brought positive personality into the mix which have been revived and restored by recovery. We laughed alot and were interested in each other. It was a party...just imagine what we bring into our own families when we give our recoveries away. Another proof that "this program works when I work it". I'm staying in school. Teach me.
Isn't it cool when we are able to add tool box tools to our tool box that were didn't even know existed. And how blessed you are, as we all are, to have found family that love and care for us.
I am so blessed to have you in my family.
Mandy
