Hi~I've told my spouse I cannot exist in our relationship any longer unless she goes to recovery herself. I'm trying to find a list of live meetings for her and I just keep finding rehabs and other related topics. What do I search to find local meetings where I live? Thanks, Lyne
I am happy to hear that you were able to set that boundary for yourself and your marriage. I think if you just put ''aa meetings" and whatever state you live in to a search engine like google you should get a list of meeting places and times?
If she truly wants recovery, she can find her way to meetings herself.
I know, harsh. But I can't count the number of rehabs I set up for my exA over the years. He always would go for a while, just to shut me up. Then gradually, he would revert to his old behaviors.
What's the saying about "staying on your own side of the street?"
I hesitate to post this, because it wasn't too long ago that someone was truly offended by replies she received to her post. So I hope this doesn't come off as being a jerk...I SO have compassion for you and your situation. It just plan sucks.

I take it you mean AA meetings? If so type in AA and the official website has that info. I dont think you can force recovery or the desire to get sober on anyone, we have all tried that one and it doesnt work, well not for long. The best thing you could do is search for Alanon meetings for you. Let her find her own way. Take care.
