                          HI F RIENDS,

 

            My daughter got a dui this spring. Just found out they are treatening jail/and pulling her bond.

She missed 2 ba,s. ON HER WILD bIRTHDAY WEEKEND. I am upset!! I can not save her I know.

I have become responcable for all transportation. Yet have little help from her when needed.

I need to set down some rules/and boundarys. I fear the worst beings that this is her 2nd round

with the law. Last year she was on a ankle moniter due to several drug overdoses. I can verly beleive

my words as I write them. Plz pray for us. Thankful for you all.

You got the prayers from Hilo that you will be strong and Let go and Let God have her.  She's likely not deaf, dumb and blind and so like the majority of alcoholics and addicts she is "risk taking" hoping that it falls her way which it isn't...let her have it all cause she is doing everything necessary to have it all.  You haven't cause it, you're not able to control it and you will not be able to cure it...Let go...Let God.  Serenity Prayer from Hilo, ((((hugs)))) smile

Maybe a little jail might help her. Like Jerry said let her have it all....and all responsibility that comes with it.

She's 19 years old nip it in the bud now, wish I had been tougher on my daughter when she was younger!

Hi, I'm going through this too. I'm practicing tough, appropriate, real love. It feels like an experiment but I'm sick of the insanity of doing the same things over and over and expecting miraculous changes. Good luck.x
