Maybe a financial person can help with maintaining your serenity as you get ready for your surgery.  We don't always need to figure things out or try so hard to fix things ourselves. Footwork for me, is asking for help that I need these days.  There's hp to call on and people who can lend their training, skills and expertise. Like Jerry mentioned, you might think of a finance person like a sponsor.

The topic of "money" rarely comes up at my Alanon meetings but it's a good one!  An inventory about money revealed that the way I viewed money went all the way back to my childhood and family of origin and before I ever made any of my own money. I'm learning to take each money decision situation by situation and be more thoughtful, gather facts and use logic rather than emotional reaction when making financial decisions. I try to remember to invite my higher power in.

By the way, I never get tired of reading you here :)  I really look forward to seeing a post from you.  And far as "repeating," I hear "reasoning things out."  Odaat   Hugs  TT
