Values as a paradiam for decisions

I wanted to share a list of thing I value. I made it to pin on my bedroom mirror to see everytime I walk by and stay focused.  It has been helping me to make decisions that uphold these values.  If it doesn't work with in this paradigm, it isn't something making my life better it is just add distraction.  It is helping me creat bounderies and stick to them.

1. I value being a good mom.  I will love, support, protect, and treat my kids with love.  I will look to there best interests first in my life.

2. I want to be honest with myself and make my words reflect what I feel and not what others want to hear or what I 'should' say.

3. I want to acheive a life of peace, stability, and self reliance for my family.

4. I want to base my values and my families values with God.

5. I want a clean, well organized home to help reduce the chaos in my life and make choices to reduce chaos and increase stability.

Thanks for reading...

I like that. Values are what backs up boundaries and makes them stronger. Seems like an important exercise.

These are a great list of values. That is what I did for the 4th step... write out what I want and then what is blocking me. I also put my family on the top of the list.
