Yesterday, my AM told me, whilst sober (at the moment) that she would like to get back into going to church with me. This is the first time she's ever said anything like this before...is this a sign from her HP, who she calls God to help her? has anyone else had this experience? I'm hopeful that this is a new beginning...is that strange?
No, but keep your expectations limited. I tried everything before I finally surrendered to AA. That also included me going to church a few times cuz I felt empty inside. That didn't get me sober. AA got me sober. It could be one stop along the way for her. There's always hope but stay grounded with expectations if you can.
