holidays :(

As the holiday approaches the drama with my AH has already started. He didn't come home wednesday night and today he is off and already its a big drama about his job. I'm off all weekend from both my jobs. I know I'm going to a meeting tomorrow. But I need to make plans with family or friends the rest of weekend esp since Sunday is a holiday. I don't want my AH behaviors to ruin the weekend or holiday. He has ruined so many of them that it is exhausting. I am going to try to break away from his insane behavior and have a joyful weekend. I know now I don't have to accept or allow his behavior control my life. I can live happy joyous and free if I make the right choices for myself. :)

Good decision, Texasgal. It used to be that we had a "plan B" when plan A was with the alcoholic. Now the Plan B IS the plan because we have learned from hard experience that plan A won't happen. Have a blessed time with your friends.

right on (((texasgal)))) i wish you lots of strength to stay with yourself this weekend...as a start. enjoy what you like doing , surround yourself with positive people and let the A's frustration where it belongs, ....with himself that is.
in support..always.
