My Helping Hand...

Have ya Ever Stepped Down off your Ego Button and had an 'Auh..Hah... Moment'

Resently I have been having some "Stinkin thinkin's" going on within my Head, and I have been Reading the Lit, and Doing Alot of differant tools that i Learned to Really get to the surface of it!

Well when I Sat Down and Ask myself "Whats my Part in it?" I would Shy away from the Answer, like the Question wasn't Strong Enough just coming from me! So when this Struggle Frist Surfaced, I Hit Anger, I Hit Betrail, I Hit Obsessive, Compulsive, and many other Triggers that I try One Day at a Time to Stay away from. But I Just couldn't Let it Go!

So that Night While Still Fuming on it, I Go to bed Uneasy not able to release it from me thoughts, and so next to my bed I have a "12 steps for AC book By: RPI Publishing, Inc" So I knew I Didn't want to go to the page I Left off, so I Ask My HP to just Give me the Page I Need! And Did He!

So I Took the Page I Openned up too and Read it, and Well I Thought I Would Share it with All of You! It has Helped Me so Much I Printed & Copied it for Future help in ANY Situation! It was Just what I needed to Hear, and Just What Step I Needed to Take to Work thru My Issue, I Stopped the Next Day, and Reflected on Each Question and Did not Stop till I got to the end, Then I Shared it with a Treasured Friend, and WOW has it helped Me ;)  Hope it Helps One of You as Well :)

Step 4: What Character defects have surfaced (e.g.. fear of abandonment, control, approval seeking, obsessive/compulsive behavior, unexpressed feelings)?

Step 5: Admit your wrongs to God, to yourself, and to another person

Step 6: Reflect upon your willingness to have God remove the character defects that have surfaced. Describe your willingness or reasons for not being willing to have them removed.

Step 7: Write a Prayer in which you Humbly Ask God to Remove the Specific shortcomings relating to this situation (You can be most humble when you are Honest about your shortcomings and your needs).
