My dog, Max, who most know I was taking to the vet several times last week, in a limp, comatose kinda state, and where he stayed a few nights is doing good. He is hypoglucenic and it was causing his sugar (glucose) level to bottom out and take him down to a very dangerous state. I mistakenly thought they were talking diabetis, but its the opposite. His sugar level is dropping suddenly and fast, where diabetic would cause the sugar level to increase due to lack of insulin.
I'm treating him with 2 small meals in the mornings and 2 small meals in the evening.. (Pedigree canned puppy food)with a small dose of Kero syrup in the morning and before bed at night. He is active, and returning to normal for the most part. It's obvious he is not 100% but he is getting there. His tempeture Saturday night was 101.3, right where it is suppose to be.
Thank all of you for you support, kind words and prayers. Being able to share this situation here meant a lot to me. He was sick, and I was nuts. LOL
Love ya'll bunches,
John

Good to know. A bit like us. When we think we're down for the count, our HP steps in and does for us what we can't do for ourselves - or our loved ones. Good that you surrendered Max into the hands of a good vet and let God and Max work it all out. Helps to remind me to do the same for my self and for my loved ones.
