Thanks for the much needed giggle.

ILD -- HIJACK away! Isn't that what this board is about? Knowing and seeing one another...oh the lives we live!

God Bless!

We got about 6 inches of snow last night...so I went out and used a shovel and snow scoop to clear the driveway (I can't afford a plow guy). ExA shows up to take 10 yo to sledding party...and stands and smokes a cigarette for about 20 min while his 5.2 wife continues to move big mounds of snow out of the driveway. A prince, indeed.

At least i know I made the right choice divorcing him....

On a good note...it's BEAUTIFUL here.

great share, I also honestly can tell you, he probably did not think a thing about you doing that work! Did not dawn on him to help.

I would have handed him the shovel and said,"YOUR turn." Or "give him the shovel and ask,"are your arms broken?"

Or "this shovel does not feel right, try it."

Oh snow I love it but hated it up at the cabin. It just meant I was stuck, cold and usually needed something in town!

But I agree it is so beautiful! hugs! debilyn

Oh geez, this is something my dad would have done. My AH wouldn't be that bad, but now that I think about it he might, LOL! He wanted to know why I was so tired last night by 9 PM, just couldn't grasp the issue that I had done 4 loads of laundry, gone grocery shopping, cooked dinner(and lunch and breakfast earlier), done the dishes, picked up the dog mess(sticks and stuff in the yard), pulled the weeds in the backyard, gone to Home Depot and purchased wire and boards to fix our fencing, washed and changed the sheets on HIS bed, took my son and dog for a 1 hour hike on the mountain, took my son to a 1 hour tennis lesson in the AM, and I'm sure there's other stuff. Oh, yeah, I vacuumed the house too. Oh yeah, and I took my son to Target at 8 PM to find a special tripod for his camera since he's practicing using his timer on his camera. AH stayed home, of course. Then, when I got home I tripped in the dark hallway over his skate shoes. When he heard me fall he says, "What happened?" Umm, I tripped over your shoes which shouldn't be in this hallway in the middle of the darkness. He says, "Oh those belong in the garage. It's not like I left them there on purpose." Well, then, why did they miss the garage by 5 feet? How hard would it be to just take those shoes the extra 5 feet out the door so that no one trips over them? Why did he have to leave them in the middle of the narrow hallway? Oh, that's right: it's my fault because I didn't turn on the light. Yep, gotta blame someone right?

What did he do? He played an hour and half of tennis with a friend, went to the hot tub, the sauna, the steam room, and then took a shower at the club(this all takes about 2 hours of his time because he really milks it), came home and turned on the TV and sat his rear in front of it for the rest of the day. I'd say it was about 8 hours of straight TV. Now, to his credit, he did help me get a rug I was selling on Craigslist unrolled and he vacuumed it while I moved the cars. And, he did fold 1 load of laundry in front of the TV because I basically dumped it next to him and said, "Hey, do you mind folding because I'm trying to fix dinner?"

So, yeah, I get how you feel, except I'm still with the guy. I guess you can see that your post just triggered some major resentment on my part. Time to go text my sponsor, read some Al Anon literature, and get my head screwed on straight. So sorry to hijack your thread!!!!

And, so glad you got some beautiful snow!
