Aloha Angelic...you won't have to stand it alone...you have a large family standing it with you. We are family. Keep an open mind from now forward as you will be receiving tons of Experience Strength and Hope (ESH) from the MIP fellowship which will be invaluable to your peace of mind and serenity and help you deal with most cunning, powerful and baffling of diseases. For me let me suggest that you look up the hot line number for Al-Anon in the white pages of your local telephone book and call it right away to find the places and times in your area where we get together to meet face to face in support. When there get as much literature that the program offers which will help you come to understand about the disease which affects your life and the life of your daughter and what you need to do for yourself so that you can survive it and help your daughter in the right way. (((safe hugs)))) sent your way! We have all been where you are at with the struggle of learning how to properly detach with love. Doing it without feelings of guilt, fear, etc.. takes practice, so hang close to Al-Anon, read the literature.. and trust you are on a good path, a right path and a path that will bring you back home... to you... a wonderful person.
