I learned yesterday my a/a daughter's 28y.o. son with his own a/a issues is homeless because she asked him to leave her house. I've been feeling anxious and fearful he would call me for help. Sure enough he did this morning, I told him "no" when he asked what I was doing and if he couldn't come over to eat and hang out. I reminded him he told me it took to much time for him to catch the bus and go to apply for food stamps.
I just found a brochu of a clean and sober living home that I made a donation to, I'll give him this # and after that I don't plan to take his phone calls. I'm done, and pray to keep this attitude about it.
