Our 21 year old son has managed to stay in employment, and tomorow moves into his own flat, today I saw him for the first time in two weeks to speak to, how quickly things can change for the better, this time last week his job hung in the balance and he had no permanent place to stay, I have felt so bad for turning him out at his lowest point but am so proud he got his act together and found this place to live, we his parents have helped stand surety for the flat and with support I think he can come out of this in a better place, if someone had said to me two weeks ago, my son would get a job and be moving into his own place I would have lol, it's early days yet though, and today I said to him I am really proud of you and I love you very much, told him he is very lucky to have got this room 15 minutes from his work place, I said please look after yourself and protect what you have as easy as it comes it can go, and if you drink the way you did whilst at home it will cost you dearly, then I thought shut up Katy your nagging again, so we have invited him for lunch on sunday and tomorrow hes going to come home and collect some of his things, I don't want anyone reading this to think this has been at all easy, we have been to hell and back with this child, just for today it is grrrrrrrrrrrreat to have something positive to think about.
Thankyou for all your support these last few weeks you have all helped me no end.
