Second Interview

Hello, my beloved MIPers!

You may recall that my long-term temporary job ended on November 1.  In mid-December I had an interview for a very, very good job with my county.  Yesterday they called me and asked me to come in on Wednesday morning (tomorrow) to "meet with" the big cheese.  I assume this is a second interview with the head honcho.  No idea how many people made it to this round.

I want this job.  I would be GREAT at this job.  I am trying so very hard to ask my HP to help me be at peace with whatever the result is.  Prayers are much, much appreciated.

Stephanie, I have prayed for clarity of thought, as you speak, calmness, and confidence.  I have also prayed for the hearts and minds of the "powers that be" so that they can give you their interest and listen to you and consider you clearly for this position.

Thanks so much, everyone! I felt very good after the interview. I felt like I sold myself and my skills well, and that I couldn't have done anything better. If I don't get the job, it will be because another candidate has a skill set that I don't. Now I'm just trying to be at peace with the result, no matter what it is. I should know within 2 weeks.
