No matter how you celebrate the holiday, may you find peace & joy! It may just be the holiday season to some, but remember to touch your fellow man in some way. It is not just the time of giving but forgiving, loving & sharing special moments. I am feeling a little alone this year. My dad is gone, my mom is on vacation. I am going to have to spend the season w/ just my husband--don't get me wrong; I am happy to spend this time w/ him. He is sober this year & I am grateful for that. Actually he has never drank over the holidays since we have been married over 13 years. He always manages to be sober. In 2006, He had just gotten home from a hospital but he was OK. He had to adjust to some of the changes in our lives, though. I had moved out earlier & we had to adjust to living apart. It was a struggle but we never went a day w/o spending time together. So, we have only been apart when he was out there experimenting. I am so glad to have him well, too. His health hasn't always been the best but he is a fighter!
