First christmas of my new life

Hi everyone, I've been through a lot in the past year and I'm feeling grateful that I survived. I am going through a divorce. The soon to be ex is in jail, facing many years in prison. But I feel that's been a gift from HP. Keeping me and my children safe, and giving us some justice. He did us so wrong. So I have been reading about "radical acceptance". Trying to do it. Accepting how things are now, a new reality, a new life and future for myself and children. It's going to be good but probably hard too. I haven't been to a meeting in a long time, but had a visit from my alanon friend and it was just what I needed. To remember I have a lifeline out there, people who care and are supportive. Love the words of wisdom on this board to. Trying to be kind to myself and move forward, not in a panic but with gratitude.
