I ask for a prayer tonight

I come here to ask for some prayers that I will have the strengh and courage to sit and listen and have a loving and kind meeting with my son and his sponsors.  We will be attending a AA speaker meeting before and visit afterwards.

Please pray that my son will come...not sure at this time if he will show up.

If not, it wil be a time for me to get out and learn.   God has asked so I will attend and be with him.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Tonight my son was too drunk to attend this AA meeting but I came away with a calm feeling that I haven't felt in a long time.

I believe that HP sent me to this meeting tonight to tell me ....Cathy.....it's time to let go and let me take over for you.

Everyone was so kind and the speakers were so inspiring I just knew I was sent by my HP..

I have a new sense of hope that I will be OK someday.

Hi Cathy

Thanks for the update.  You have just discovered why meetings, AA or Alanon are so important.  We gain strength, hope and courage when we connect with others who are on this Spiritual path.
