I want to say something inspirational but I don't have a lot of time. Just remember this: There is absolutely nothing that your HP & you cannot do together. You are not insignificant. You are important & worth thinking of & being loved. This time of year we remember those we love. We give what we can & don't expect anything from anyone. Even though I feel like I want to give to my family; I just can't seem to do it. My family never gives me anything. I don't know why but I always give to them. This year I am not going to send anything. I hope they don't mind but I just can't. I do give gifts & cards for birthdays. I guess the new year might change me. I will try to change my thinking & my actions this coming year--one day at a time. I am hoping for a good one. I guess I will just have to wait & see.
The best gift we can give to anyone else is our love. You cannot give anyone else love until you love yourself. Take care of yourself. One day out of the year doesn't make a life. To some Christmas means alot but there are those of us that it takes everything within ourselves just to make it through the day. One day at a time.
I Just want to Say, I"m Sorry you have to feel this way this time of Year.... And I Do Believe as stated above, LOVE is the biggest Gift We can give one another, And whether your Love Comes from your Family, Or Your MIP Family... Its Love...

Taking care of Myself is not something I Do well either, I have been Practicing it a little more & Hoping to soon accept it.. It Feels good when i Allow HP to lead...I'm Glad your Hear, I Happy for your Honesty and your Humilty... Keep Coming back friend... For we are Family :)
Very strong words, my friend and they apply to you as well. You are worth thinking of and of being loved. I am blessed to have you as my friend and my Al-Anon sister, my family of choice.
