My HP at work

I have been up since 1am praying to God and thanking him for what he has done for me in the last few weeks.  He has taught me many lessons with the help of all my good friends here and in my face to face meetings.  He has also brought Jon into my life to help with my son.

Tonight my son went to AA. He already got a sponsor and will be returning tonight.

I also haven't been to church in a very long time but this Sunday I will be attending a local chuch near me.  Little scared but I'm sure they will except me.

Now I need to keep my promise to God that I will not try to be him anymore and let him do his work.  I will do mine and that is taking care me...

God bless everyone

((((( hugs )))))

So happy to hear the strength and optimism in this post, Cathy. Happy your son attended an AA meeting.

Even though your A is your son and mine is my husband (who I am divorcing), I have related to many of your posts. Many of the traits you describe in your son are similar to my AH.

It's great to see you making progress taking care of YOU! You have been an inspiration to me.

I will continue to pray for you and your son! :)

Isn't it awesome when you turn them over to God and step out of the way. Sending him and you much love and support!

Cathy, that is such good news. I see such a change in you finding gratitude for the past week or two. Keep working. Congrats

Cathy, you seem calm and peaceful. I give praise and thanks to your Higher power ((hugs))

I know this is just the beginning and there will be ups and downs, but I will continue to pray for peace, love my son wherever his journey takes him and continue to take it one day at a time.

I pray I will continue healing myself and not get caught up again in the madness, crisis or hurt that may come.

Thank you all so much for the encouragement you send....I cry thinking about all the kind words I have found here. I am not alone anymore

((( hugs )))
