Yes, there are Al-Anon meetings for parents of alcoholics. There are several in the area that I live and they have been a great support as I deal with my alcoholic adult daughter. Just go to the Al-Anon meeting directory on the top of this website and look for meetings that are listed as being for parents. The "Getting Them Sober" series of books are great for anyone who is dealing with an alcoholic loved one.
This varries from place to place . In NYC we do have parents meeting. I have attended a few and found that the program is the same regardless of who is the alcoholic. Same tools, same principles, same recovery.
The big difference is when it is your child who is addicted the urge to save and enable is greater.
No matter the meeting, the undersanding and acceptance is there.
We don't have any ACA, CODA, Oa or anything other than a few alanon meetings and less than 10 AA meetings in my area. I'm contemplating starting up an ACOA meeting here once I feel stable enough. It's going to be tricky since there aren't any to model after, but its my biggest issue, so I figured the only way to have one is to start one.
