Thanks for the Push-ka...Happy Thanksgiving from the Big Island of Hawaii to my MIP Ohana (family)...I wish you peace of mind and serenity and someone to share it with the opportunity to spread it around. I get to do the gravy...what do you get to do? (((((MIP)))))
I get to do it all and I rather like it. Up early cleaning the kitchen cause the kitchen elves took the month off (year off?) Stuffed my 18 lb turkey, peeled potatoes n mashed em whenthey were done (now they sit in the crock pot keeping warm), steamed some broccoli, cut stuff, cleaned stuff, ate stuff..... ha, wrapped my turkey in bacon then took Betsy for a play in the park, came home to wonderful smells, made Deviled eggs and now going to watch night at the museum while it all finishes cooking. THEN I get to do the gravy too!
But I like doing it all, enjoy the simplicity of just going from one task to another, getting it all done. Ok, guilty pleasure to come isn't eating it all, its picking the bacon off the turkey as I move it to the platter - no wonder i don't eat much of the meal!
