YES - I too have received spam messages (PM) from this board. I suspect it is because of our recent thread on relationships. There are people out there who troll boards and dating sites to find lonely people to exploit...and get them to send money etc.
My PM message said it was from Senegal. I don't know how the board can be protected from this activity other than to alert our members and report it when it happens.
Hotrod? Glad Lee? Canadian Guy? what do you all think?
I feel so left out, I didn't get no stinkin spam messages, sniff sniff, proves I am so worthless not even spammers will take the time of day to email me.......
Spam messages are just another unpleasant fact of life, we don't ask for them, can't do anything about them and can't stop them from coming, hmm, sorta like the alcoholics three C's eh? Hey, also sort of like the political mail and phone messages - boy won't we ALL be glad when that hogwash is over for another four years? If I believed the spam messages I get - I can re-finance my house (hmm, rented...), lose weight, gain hair, grow bigger/smaller/richer etc. and someone named _____________ saw my non-existant profile somewhere and wants to hook up! Delete is a wondering thing, gives you such power!!!
