I'm going home tonight, going to relax, hand out candy, watch TV and veg :) The boys are with dad this year, I'll see them when they get home about 9pm tonight.
On a side note, tagged onto the post last night - he apparently left the VA sometime after 11:30pm. He's at his home getting help from his NA friend to detox on his own. I'm pretty sure it won't work but that's not my business. He texted me saying he was going to get through this on his own. My reply? "I recognize you believe you can do this yourself, so I am going to step back but I am not going to help".
He's sent a couple of "bait" texts, I ignore those. Outside of that, pretty quiet, really fun day at work, great potluck, the meatloaf brain was awesome and my halloween socks with orange toes were a hit with my pajamas (pajama party LOL). Great food, lots of laughs and I'm actually looking forward to a few quiet hours tonight (ok well the knocking on the door might not be quiet LOL).
A friend of mine calls those texts 'fishing' texts, LOL! I am picking up Pei Wei for dinner. AH has mysteriously disappeared without telling me where he's going and I'm being nice by ordering his favorite dish from there. Ds and I are going to pick it up and then we're going to sit in the driveway, chat with neighbors, and hand out candy. My AH will sit inside and pout and watch TV like he does every year.
I LOVE Halloween, unfortunately I had to work late and didn't get home until it was mostly over, and I have a big bowl of leftover candy too, good stuff like reeces, payday, almond joy.... i get good candy! Happy Halloween!

Ugh, all I have left is a bunch of Whoppers! Seriously, how did the Whoppers get to the bottom of the bowl? They are OK, but certainly not my favorite. Time to go eat a Milky Way and call it a day, LOL!
