information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

So I came close to a mental melt down between home and work this month. So I am trying to take care of myself. I treated myself to an overdue hair cut. I cut 13 inches off and donated it to locks of love. I colored my hair as well and feel phenomenal. I was so scared but once I was there....I could not believe how ready I was for the change. I have started walking more. I bought myself some mineral makeup. I read a wonderful passage out of the Courage to change book, I believe it was for October 16...even in the crisis I can choose to take care of myself...What are ways that you take care of yourself?????I'd love to have some new ideas!

I take care of myself by giving myself patience and forcing myself to stop DOING things and just try being. I just try to sit and watch, even for five minutes, everything thats going on around me.
I also try to treat myself the way I wish other people would treat themselves, or the way I tell other people to treat themselves!
Someone told me once that pain was resistance to what is. I try to remember that from time to time.
