Ready Set...Go!!

Aloha Kakahiaka Ohana `O MIP...Good morning MIP Family...The day has started her on Moku Keawe...The Big Island of Hawaii...much later than many of you and then it's here.  Puppers have been walked and the Pinch let out so she can get in her pool.  My laughs start with them.  The wild birds have been fed and an "Uncle" (that's what some of us address our elders with) has been acknowledged as he did his early morning walk.  Did I say I've already started laughing.  I have had breakfast with my wife...ummmm good mushroom, cheese and egg omlette in a bagel with sour cream and the dishes are done and while my wife is showering for work I get to read this before getting out of the door myself.

"Without faith in a power greter than myself, I am like a storm-tossed ship without a rudder.  I am flung from one trouble to another; however bravely I may battle the elements, my own strenth and wisdom are not enough.

- Did I mention having already spent time flat on the floor because of back pain -  continuing...

All of us need something to cling to with absolute confidence.  If I have been disillusioned by disappointments, or have been let down by someone I trusted, it makes me feel as though I were alone and vulnerable in a hostile world.

I will not deprive myself of God's help and guidance.  I see it at work in my program as we share knowledge, courage and hope with each other.  Confidence and dignity are restored tous by the knowledge that we are God's children.

keep in mind... If my faith has been dimmed by disappointment, I can begin to regain it by clinging to a spiritual idea like the one expressed in the Serentiy Prayer.  This living philosophy will bive me a secure foundation of faith.

"For we walk by faith,...not by sight"

Mahalo MIP and all you who love me unconditionally...I am forever grateful.   Gotta go into the sun and start my responsibilities to myself...and others.  The above is not my wisdom...it is my instruction.

(((((hugs))))) smile

I am with you Sister friend, the next Al-anon convention on the big island I am in, especially if it is in the colder Fall or Winter months. I so love your inspirational walk Jerry F! I saw a chiropractor for my back today and I feel much better, part of my self care these days. Sending you much love and support!

Kia ora, iechyd da, e Tieri,

Our day begins a whopping 22 hours ahead of yours... people, kids and dogs out here too in the central highlands of Te Waka a Maui.

I am patiently watching to see if our dogwood will grow, a reminder of our visit to Apalacia last year. It is spring of course. I plants peas

and beans along the front of the house- where it is warm and sheltered. I let the mokapuna pick and eat them- to teach them about growing things- and not to eat too many lollies!

He oti ano... I hope you day again is full of joy!smile

awwArohanui,

-D.
