It's been one month and one day since my A (nowX) left.  It seems like this was the best thing for both of us. He is doing much better now. Says he hasn't had a drink since he's been gone and I believe him. He's getting counseling, eating again, getting his health back. I had a tough go of it for the first couple weeks. But I'm slowly but surely moving forward with my life. My biggest worry has been money, because I have no income and when he was here he did help financially.  There is a small guest house on the property and I've spent weeks cleaning, painting, getting it fixed up to rent. The great news - I have my first reservation for next month! I'm so looking forward to it. Not just for the income (although that will be VERY welcome) but for the experience of meeting new people. having guests was always fun and I'm glad to have a chance to do it again. I do still miss XA. But we parted on good terms and have stayed in contact.  We're both in a better place now. I have to say that for me, that is possible because of this board and allI've learned from the ESH of the people here. Thank you, once again.
