Glad you had a good day with your sponsor, Jane. Working the 5th step is an incredible experience. It's great that your sponsor and you are taking time to know one another a little more before that happens. It sounds like the two of you have a very caring and supportive sponsor/sponsee relationship. TT

Due to my job I haven't been able to make a meeting for the last 2 weeks. My sponsor rang me the other day to ask me if I'd like to go to a convention with her today. I wanted to go but had a lot of chores to do today, so I said I'd let her know then yesterday I had a really bad day so called her up and said yes please. (I badly needed some sanity in my life.)
On the drive up she shared she'd had a really bad weekend herself and needed to recharge her batteries. On the drive home we discussed the day and both agreed that it had been special. There was a lot of powerful shares and we both felt renewed. It really was a special day for me, everything about it was good. I've only been in the fellowship 10 mths, today felt like a bit of a watershed for me. It really was wonderful.
I'm going to start my 5th Step soon, it scares the living daylights out of me but I know I'll get through it with my HP's and sponsors help.
