My attitude of gratitude

As I woke up this morning and had to fight my 4 year old out of bed to get us all up and to school I realized my attitude was in the wrong place. So here is my readjustment.

I am appreciative for my 2 healthy beautiful children who bring me so much love and blessings everyday!

I am so grateful for my friends who have supported me through my bottom and beyond!

I am thankful for the support of my sponsor, she is an amazing spicy old lady whom I cherish!

I am blessed to have MIP to come to anytime I need ESH or want to give ESH to keep my program on target!

I am appreciative for the financial aid to assist me in going back to school and getting a great career.

I am greatful for this crispp Fall morning and my warm house! My car that isn't new, but runs great!

I have so many things that are going right, that I choose today to focus on them and let go and let God with the rest!

I hope you all have an amazing day!

The gratitude list has to be one of the most powerful program tools of all. Thanks for sharing yours!

oh wow, beautiful list ((BF)) To me, this shows your willingness to work it, and I was told, my willingness was all I had to provide. Higher power would do the rest ((hugs))

felt the need to comment..thanks for your share! I right in my grattitutude book, every day and wow do i love it, i right a few lines in the morning and before bed. I love reading it over whenever i feel i'm slipping into stinky thinking lol. you can't be full of self pity when your grateful, even for the small things it really is a great way to change the way im thinking.

Yes, BrF a good thing to do...

I was always awed by speakers from North America. Well I suppose they had big meeting over there and some people became accustomed to talking to big crowds and to assemblies of people. Over here, and in this neck of the woods there were times we had one person peetings and two person meetings.

But there are strengths in this. Our local group went into recess and I moved 40 mins up the road. But we decided to revive our group here. It takes time and patience.

But we have gone from three stable members to five.

i could manage a big meeting- but for the first few years of Aanon i was sitting on the edge of my seat- wanting to unload, and then get out of there!

But I do feel better now. I sometimes picture myself, with a silver tongue, at a large meeting. I have already rehearsed my key point: 'I have gone from the paralysis of analysis to an attitude of gratitude.' There- I have done it!

Now I can get on with the business of sharing experience strength and hope. Thanks so much for the share.
