I'm going to Paris soon. I'm excited. I love it there. For reasons I now question, I haven't been there in over 30 years. Can it really be that long? Dang!

Since my teen yearsyears I've had a recurring dream that a trip to Paris has become available to me suddenly (LOL). I'm so thrilled -- and then something happens to make it impossible for me to go. Maybe my passport has disappeared and cannot be re-issued, all planes have been grounded indefinitely,or other things that are normal only in dreams' story lines.

New dream story line now. My dear friend's traveling companion cannot go, and she has invited me. It's all arranged and it's going to be such fun. The best part is that I know where my passport is, and it is still valid.

I'm taking this opportunity with all the gusto I have. Thanks, Al-Anon. We are so worth it.
