I am so glad & thankful to those wonderful people who adjust the costs on lab reports. I was pleasantly surprised by the letter I got concerning the bill for my current lab reports to find out what is actually wrong w/ me. I got the letter in the mail on Sat. & was so happy to receive it. This sounds kind of crazy but the letter was well received because they brought down the bill from over a thousand dollars down to around 140 dollars. I am so hap-happy. I did not expect to have this happen because really I have no insurance. I was told but didn't really believe that the lab would adjust it at all. I guess I am somewhat of a pessimest. I just feel now that God is working in my life. So what if people are involved. I count it all joy when things like this happen. I hope that whoever reads this, will find a bit of hope for the future of health-care. I know that if I can be grateful, so can y'all!
Hang in there, those who don't have insurance like me, it will always work out some way.
Know how you feel, my friend. I had to make a ER visit -- bill totaled $1500, it was adjusted to $500 due to lack of insurance. That was just the hospital tho, I also got a bill from ER doctors for stitching me up & that was $980 - they were not so kind!!!!
