Update; New life and trying not to get involved with the exAH and his drama

So I started school for my RN last week and can see I will have to put all my extra energy into my school work to keep my GPA up to keep my financial aid. The boyfriend and I are doing great and  are having many adventures and I finally feel like I am living and out of my head more than ever. My exAH has been struggling with his Uncle who has been given a few days to live and has been emailing me drama, I bit at first, but have since let it go. He is stuck and sad, but it there is really nothing I can do, but love him from afar. In his last email I hear his stuckness and cycles coming around and I chose to skip this round and just stay in my life where things seem to be flowing just fine and headed towards a pure healthy life for me and my kids.

I have struggled at times with my new bf he does seem too good to be true and well my sponsor says stop waiting for the other shoe to drop, because my filter picked out a higher standard of man this time and I do deserve to be treated like this. Wow, I just love her! And sorry I don't reply as much with school and an active life, I barely get to get on here and read. I pray everyone is working a great program and headed upward and onward! Hi Breakingfree! It's good to hear your update. Your story gives me hope as well. You've weathered these storms with a lot of strength and now you are in a whole new adventure. How wonderful that your new relationship is going so well! I understand that feeling of - wait a second, this is too good to be true! But sometimes it really is true and you do deserve it! LOVED your share here! Good for you. I am so happy you have met a nice man who treats you well. Well the shoe dropped for me but it was worth all the nice stuff my ex did for me and with me. So let go and have fun!
